Going to Guatemala from Sept 19-27th for a volunteer adventure!

For almost a year I've been planning this adventure I'm about to take from Sept. 19th - 27th. Ever since I heard about the International Volunteer Headquarters on the John Lee Dumas Entrepreneur on Fire podcast, I knew it was something I wanted to do.
IVHQ is a non-religious volunteer program, you can choose when you go, how long you will stay and which country you'd like to visit. For my first volunteer mission, I chose Guatemala.

I had a hard time choosing between childcare and conservation, so I'm starting with childcare. I love my nieces and nephews, so I can't wait to spend some time with children in an area of the world that has great need for such help. If I can provide a little bit of value for anyone, it will be a successful trip.

My shops will be closed from Sept. 19th - 27th, the web site is open for browsing and buying, but nothing will ship until I return on Sept. 28th.

I know I've been closed down a few times this summer for vacations and moving, but I try to do it all in the summer months so I can be working at 100% 24X7 during the busy holiday season.

Has anyone ever done an IVHQ trip or has any questions or advice, please leave me a comment below, I'd love to hear from you!
