Merino Wool 1/4 Cushion Hiking Socks Review

darn tough socks

I usually get the Merrell wool micro crew socks but I kept getting sticks, sand, dirt, rocks and other trail debris in the socks, usually introduced from the sweat running down my calves. I'd have to stop and clean them out and I hate stopping for anything on the trail. I tried these out because they are a little higher and they work great. They fit snug around the ankle, but are still low profile. Cushioned comfort and 50% Merino Wool/28% Nylon/20% Nano-Glide/2% Lycra blend assures no blisters on long hikes. Plus they give me that much sought after hikers tan, tan legs with blindingly white feet :)

I do wash all my wool socks in cold water and let them air dry. It seems to increase their longevity.
