Views from my new home in St. George, UT

My mom & I were talking on the phone the other day and it's hard to believe I'm the first in my family to ever live in Utah! I'm pretty much the first in my family to have a full-time online business and to live in 5 different cities 5 years in a row.

My first 2 priorities are to get my business fully stocked and to hit the hiking trails. I've been having a blast picking new hiking trails to try. I have so, so, so many to choose from nearby, which is exactly the way I like it. Some of my favorites have been the Chuckawalla Trail and Whiterocks.

St. George is a clean, quiet town, hardly any traffic and parking anywhere is a breeze. So different from LA. Everyone is friendly and I really feel comfortable and safe living here.

I've also been exploring Snow Canyon State Park and the contrast of the white, red and black lava rocks has been a visual delight every time I see it.

It is very, very hot here, usually over 100 degrees in the afternoon. I've just adjusted my schedule to hike in the morning when it's cooler. I've been told that it will cool down in September, that's when I will head to Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon (North Rim) to explore even more.

Happy Trails!!
